At 5 months old, Tommy loved going to the grocery store, meeting new people and doing his silly "cheesy smile" for people and for the camera. He was eating LOTS of baby food (3 solid meals per day), plus still drinking lots of mommy's milk, so he was growing squishier and chubbier every day. He was getting better at sitting without falling over and liked to sit on the floor and play with his toys. He also liked to lay on his tummy while he played with his toys and had learned how to scoot backwards a few feet. His new favorite activity was jumping in his Jumperoo- he would jump and jump until he got so exhausted that he would fall asleep. He was starting to sleep through the whole night when he caught his first cold, and then the congestion disrupted his sleep a bit. He got lots of extra snuggles while he was sick, and was still as sweet and playful as ever.
