Thomas Jay Adams: 10 Months

Tommy 10 month stats: 19 lbs 8.5 oz, 28 in

At 10 months old, Tommy was finding new ways to explore. He started pulling himself on all different pieces of furniture, people's legs, walls... whatever he could use to help him stand. He would "cruise" around the room moving from place to place while holding onto different things for support.  He even started using his activity table and dining room chairs as walkers- pushing them along to help him walk all over the house. 

 Tommy became quite the little mischief maker this month. His favorite naughty things to do were to unpack his diaper box and to crawl into empty rooms (and closets!) and shut the door behind him. He liked to shout "Ahhh!" really loudly even when he wasn't upset. He liked to do a silly dance where we would hold his hands and then he would kick his legs and crunch his upper body like a hip hop dancer. He also clapped when he heard a song he liked.

 

 

 At 10 months, Tommy could understand and respond to simple commands, including: "Give me a kiss", "clap", "come here", "jump", and "all done." He also loved to read books upside down and to help mommy with the laundry... mostly by unfolding all of the clothes and crawling into the empty laundry basket to hide. He liked to go to the pool to splash and cool off. He also learned how to use crayons and Mommy was so proud of his scribble masterpieces :)

He sprouted one more tooth on the bottom, for a total of 4 teeth. He liked to use those new teeth to eat anything and everything in sight and was still not a picky eater at all. He got his first ear infection and had his first trip to pediatric urgent care on Mommy's birthday. He also got his first haircut this month, which made him look like a big boy and even more like his daddy.
